An old-fashioned travel office, run with modern tools

Ponferrada Travel is named for the town where the Camino Francés crosses the Sil river — a place walkers remember for its Templar castle, and for being the point where the end of the road starts to feel real.

That's where we met: a handful of friends from different corners of the world, sharing a table and a bottle of Bierzo after a long stage. We kept walking together, kept travelling together, and eventually turned a shared obsession into a travel agency.

The care extends well beyond Spain. We search worldwide stays through trusted suppliers, plan cruises with people who know the ships, and build tailor-made trips one conversation at a time — working with partners like Camino Koala when you'd rather research and book yourself.

We would rather be honest than impressive. If a route is too hard for the time you have, or a cabin is poor value, we will say so and suggest something better.
